Ed Curney reads to Oakley Elementary first graders.
Several Creekside High School students participated in a Read-In at Oakley Elementary School, serving the Creekside community.
Students from the Creekside Seminole Football Program, Beta Club and the CHS Literacy Center visited with students at Oakley and read books with them. Creekside High School was very happy to be invited over to Oakley to participate in this wonderful event – and we look forward to participating again soon.
Our Creekside High School students were very well received not just by the Oakley students, but also by the Oakley staff as well.
Thank you so much for working to bring your students to Oakley! They were all well received. They added an inspiring youthful mentoring element to our day, which included several parents and grandparents. Each student received a certificate to show our appreciation of their service.
I hope we can do it again! It was an uplifting experience for everyone.
